FUENTE BELDA, JOSE Mª
José María de la Fuente (Alicante, 1964) is a poet, a writer and a playwright settled in Barcelona. Graduated in Teaching at the University of Valencia and with a degree in Spanish Philology at the University of Barcelona, he currently combines teaching with writing and his job as Theatre Producer of Cia. Mousiké (Produccions La Maquineta + Cia. Susanna Barranco).
As a playwright, he has written and produced several plays for children and adults. As a poet, he has published two collections of poems: Promenade (Llibres de l’Índex. Barcelona, 2004) and Libro (Ed. La Tempestad. Barcelona, 2005). As a novelist, he counts with several titles: El secreto del tamarindo, an inspiring novel (Ed. Obelisco); La capsa de la fi del món, a Y.A novel based on the global warming (Edicions 62); and El oro del conserje, a novel targeted at the business and management world published by Ed. Planeta (in Spanish) and by Ara Llibres (in Catalan). El Elixir, released in 2011 by Luciérnaga, is his most recent book.
