CUEVAS, CARMEN
Santander, 1971. Licensed in Physics at the University of Cantabria in 1994. She has worked for 20 years in this field, starting in the Electronics Department of her university, and after that, in several multinationals of the technological field. It’s been 20 years where literature has never stopped being a refuge, the place where anything can happen. Her short stories have been published in several anthologies (Gotas de Mercurio, Mentira Cochina and Con Sabor a Sugus), and others have been shortlisted for awards (Manuel Oreste, 2008). Her first novel was shortlisted in the Círculo de Lectores Award in 2010 and in 2014 comes her first publication, ¡BINGO!, this time in the noir genre. An exciting thriller where real life, openly and without concessions, dares to call things by its name.
