CALLS I XART, ALBERT

Albert Calls i Xart (Cabrera de Mar, Barcelona, 1966). A journalist for several regional printed media for over 25 years, he was in charge of El Punt’s cultural section (Maresme edition), and worked as a correspondent for the newspapers Avui and Ara. For 14 years he was one of the promoters of the bookstore Proa Premià, in Premià de Mar. Linked to literary activism, as a creative writer he has published books of poetry, fiction and cultural dissemination. Some of his most recent works are El Masnou Blauverd, and the miniseries for the m1tv channel Nosaltres, els maresmencs.
