THE LOST WORLDS OF ALISON BLIX: THULE'S MESSAGE
Alison is a lonely girl that, since the strange disappearance of her parents – two American archaeologists – lives boringly in a mansion on the hill of Tibidabo. She is under the supervision of her grandfather, a wealthy industrialist who lives in Barcelona and everyone calls Mr. Pinkus.
Mr. Pinkus tries to keep twelve-year-old Alison away from everything related to the mystery. Since her parents did not return from an expedition in search of the remains of Thule, one of the lost worlds, he has closed the study of archaeologists in the basement of the mansion.
The discovery of the key to the enigmatic “closed chamber” will change the life of the protagonist. While her grandfather sleeps, Alison goes into the camera with the hope of finding traces of her parents. Among hundreds of folders full of reports and photographs of the “lost worlds”, the protagonist finds a rope with strange signs and a book manuscript.
The latter is the midnight daily, written by her parents just before their disappearance. Alison reads it under the moonlight, as suggested by a note of warning. She finds out that the authors have found the entrance to Thule, the lost continent that connected India and Australia.
The manuscript ends with a personal note with directions that allow Alison to meet them. The young protagonist expects that night from the moment of departure, not imagining that she is about to embark on a journey to a world full of dangers, magic and special characters.
