LA BIBLIOTECA DE LA LUNA
A revealing novel – with echoes of Bradbury, Huxley or Rampa – about the future of humanity in a space colony.
In the more or less near future, Kumar, an eccentric tycoon, creates the first human colony on the Moon: Exovillage, a tourist centre for great fortunes.
Verne, a linguist who works in a call center, is in love with Moira, a telecommunications engineer who works in Exovillage and suffers from <<space melancholy>>. The young man manages to move there to work as a librarian (printed books were banned on Earth to avoid deforestation) and he will find texts that seek intellectual perfection. When Verne manages to go out to explore the lunar surface, he comes across a rare hermit who will become his Zen master.
