Sebastià Bennasar wins the VLC Negra 2017 Award with ‘El imperio de los leones’
The writer Sebastià Bennasar has won the award to the best noir novel written in Catalan in the 2017 Valencia Negra Festival with El imperio de los leones. The book is based on the well-known French mafia gangs that have been in the Costa Brava from the 60’s up until now.
Sebastià Bennasar is one of the most prolific writers in our country, an expert in the crime genre.
The Valencia Negra (VLCNegra 2017) is a cultural festival that gathers each year tens of creators, mostly writers, and it revolves around the noir genre. Among the activities, three awards are given.
