THE LABYRINTH OF HAPPINESS
“El laberinto de la felicidad” is the first title of the collection edited by Álex Rovira. It is a short story, but very inspiring, touching and destined to all publics. It is very easy to read but not exempt of depth, entertainment, fun and love. The crisis of ethic values, the culture “fast”, the lack of space and time for dialogue, the non introspection, the strong rhythm in everyday life or stress take us many times to forget the most important: to live and look for a sense in it.
“El laberinto de la felicidad” shows us that get to find, accept and know ourselves are the previous and necessary steps to be happy. It is a parable that reminds us of “The Wizard of Oz”, “Alice in Wonderland” and “The Little Prince”. It tells us the trip of the protagonist through the labyrinth and all its stages until she reaches and gets to accept herself, and also decides to show herself to the world as she really is. The centre of you is the end of the journey. But first you have got to reach your centre – that is also the centre of the labyrinth – to be able to exit it after knowing all its stages and yourself.
