VILLATORO, VICENÇ
Vicenc Villatoro (Terrassa,1957) is a journalist and novelist. He began his literary life with the novel “Evangeli gris”, winner of the Sant Jordi prize in 1981. Among his titles are “País d'Itàlia” (1983), “Els anys a la ciutat” (1986), “Les illes grogues” (1987), “Entre batalles” (1987), “Titànic” (1990), “Hotel Europa” (1992), “Memòria del traïdor” (1996), “La claror de juliol” (1996) and “La derrota de l'àngel” (2004). The author has received many literary awards, among them Ciutat de Barcelona (1987), Document (1991) and Carlemany (2004). Published in 2010, “Tenim un nom”, won the Ramon Llull Award in the same year. His mot recent novel is “Moon River” (Columna, 2011).
The author has collaborated with many media, like “Avui”, “El Periódico”, “El País”, “BTV”, Catalunya Ràdio” and “Com Ràdio”.
